Full-time Staff RN (she/her)

Ashley has proudly been working in the Buffalo area as a registered nurse since 2012 and recieved her Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Daemen College.

Ashley, herself, has a passion for patient advocacy and research. She completed a birth doula (DONA) course that sparked her transition to work locally in Labor and Delivery at a near by hospital. She then began her journey with Fika Midwifery in the fall of 2019.

Ashley has a strong drive to approach birth as a whole, ensuring mind, body, and soul are balanced. You can find her recommending essential oils to her patients and striving to make sure mom feels safe and encouraged. When she’s not witnessing birth, she’s usually chasing around her husband to help with home renovations.

Caroline has worked in Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby and the NICU, and is excited to share her skills and experience with birthing families in the community setting. In her spare time Caroline likes to garden, bake, and spend time with her husband, son, and cats.
